This is to perhaps the most surprising act of generosity I've had in years. I'd driven the Z3 to a friend's house looking for a little help with a stuck screw on the 3rd brake light, but generally kicking tyres and enjoying the sun.
A woman in a little red Hyundai i10 pulled up and enquired whether I had a tonneau. I replied (a little confused) 'no I haven't but I'm after one'. She smiled and informed me that she's had a Z3 years ago, sold it because of grandkids and asked if I wanted her old tonneau.
Less than 10 mins later she turned back up in the same red Hyundai and took out a tonneau, handed it me and (despite me trying to force the meagre £35 I had in wallet) drove off refusing to accept anything.
The result is attached and my faith in human kind took a massive step forward.......
