Open question.
Why is it that late model 2002 3ltr Z3-sports with low mileage, say 55000klm fetch a high price in Canada, as opposed to the uk?
Has the hand of drive got something to do with it.

Over here since March 2001 we've had a graduated road tax system based upon emissions so cars after that date have dearer road tax. When I searched for mine I bought a late 2000 2L. Before that date there are only 2 road tax bands, under 1549cc and over 1549cc so I suppose people avoid cars registered after March 2001.

Thank you kindly.
Makes sense, however in general models from 1999 onwards still demand a higher price here,
as it seems with models designed for Europe.

A nice 3.0 with low miles demands more than the others except ///M models.
One with miles will sell around £4000 but you can pay double that for a clean low mileage car with a good history.
