Hi all,

I'm thinking of selling my Z, she is a little beauty. She is in oak green, which shines beautifully in the sun. She has covered 52k miles and is backed up by vosa. Interior is tan, and in very good condition.

Recent work, oil service, fuel filter and brake fluid change at my local specialist. They gave the car a thorough look over and we're very complimentary about the condition of the car underneath. Only advisory was a front bush, which they said wouldn't need doing for a while. They suggested the car must have been stored in a heated garage as there were no signs of rust, all brake pipes were in very good condition.

The car does have a hard top with heated rear screen, servicing wise there are 7 stamps in the book. A mixed bag in terms of dealer/specialist and local garages. The previous owner owned the car for 7 years and had it serviced at a local garage but only had it stamped twice in his possession.

It is 2000 car, so a Facelift aswell. It has 4 owners. Oh it has the sports alloys too, all tyres are in very good condition with 5mm+ remaining. Brake discs and pads have all plenty of life.

I will try to post pics, not sure where to pitch the price any suggestions.

There is a nice 2.8 facelift (black) at a garage near me for £3995, 85K miles and no hardtop. Your car looks lovely (really like the green), with the low mileage and hardtop would have thought around £5/6K. That said, prices seem to be all over the place at present. Good luck if you decide to sell.

Thanks for your feedback, and I agree prices are all over the place. It's difficult to price it really, there are some jobs that are outstanding but these will be completed before I advertise I think. Once they are completed, I think my car will be in pretty much an A1 condition. The specialists were very complementary about the condition of the car, they were amazed considering its a 17 year old car now. Lots of positives about the car.

That's a very nice Zed with low mileage - start at £6000. It might be worth advertising the car on pistonheads - good luck!

Thanks David, that's the sort of figure I had in my mind.

I've added some new pictures.

I'd list it just over £6000, you will get all sorts of offers. I sold my 2.8 1999 facelift earlier this year - regretted it ever since! It was less mileage , but no hard top and I let it go for just under that, having made a significant profit on what I paid for it. I had lots of daft offers from people who didn't even come to look at it. It looks a very nice car so unless you really want to get rid keep it or make sure you don't be in a rush and let it go too cheaply.
I do like that colour combination, pity I can't have two Z3 s!!!

Why can't you have 3 Z3's?

That's a fine looking Zed you have there @grandadg90. I'm sure you will get top dollar for it.
Just be sure you want to sell it though. It's a long time gone.

Looks great and I do believe that as time goes on Z3s are becoming more desirable. As Spring arrives the thoughts of men turn to convertibles!

Hey Rahail,

Looks another good z3. When did you get it?

Your old one is still going strong although I haven't had chance to use it much.

Definately worth the thick end of £6k. Stunning paint and matching hardtop, low mileage 2.8s arent too common

Thanks for all the responses. She is a little stunner.

Rob, hope your well and enjoying my old 3.0 sport. I do miss her, so much so that I couldn't help but get another one. Just couldn't find a 3.0L so opted for a 2.8 after driving my mates car. Hope the old girl is well.
