Hi all,
Sad news, my beloved Z4 has gone :depressed:, but this is what has replaced it:https://www.motors.co.uk/car-50474770/?i=1&m=sp :D:D:D
Traded in both my Civic and the Zed yesterday but more than happy with the result!
In truth, I was going for a Honda S2000, from the dealers in Newtown, but the asking price was way too high and they would not budge. So I shook the guys hand and said 'no thanks'. I did have a drive of it and it was impressive, but cramped and noisy. Not my sort of drive, so from Newtown my friend and I went up to Shrewsbury BMW and did a deal. I must say I was impressed with them, eager to please and we had some laughs. Nothing like the dealers at Hereford!!
So I am now just waiting for next Wednesday for it to be delivered. It is having a full service, an M.O.T, and valeted. Plus a years warranty.
Because it has off white seats and interior, my mate has suggested I get covers for the seats for everyday use, which seems sensible. Has anyone any suggestions on that subject?
At least now I only have one lot of tax and insurance to pay for:thumbsup:.

All the best, Colin.

Thank you all for the lovely comments!
I am really pleased with it, although I nearly didn't get it as it was an 'auto'. I've always been of the persuasion the a two-seater should be a manual so you can 'drive' it. But my mate, also a Colin, who came with me, said that as I'm getting an 'old git' it might suit me better! Cheeky so 'n so! But after driving it I have no complaints. Besides, it has the 'paddles' on the wheel so it will be like playing on a PS4:p.
Colin.

Thanks, Dave. I have to agree!

No, the 2.2 is Aegean Blue (on the left below) and the 3.0 is Topaz

Great looking Z - your right about the seats especially don’t wear blue jeans as I find they make the seats look blue very quickly. I don’t know if there is something that can protect them I tend to just clean on a regular basis

I do like the Aegean Blue, Dave. But both look good. Just makes me wonder how many shades of blue the Zeds come in!
There's no fear of me wearing jeans, Stephen, my wife banned me from wearing them back in the 70's!!! She said that they never suited me. And who was I to argue!!
I'll keep looking for some sort of cover, but in the meantime I'll just drive around naked:ymdevil::ymdevil:
Colin.
