Just saw this up on Z3 Roadster Forum - he had sadly succumbed to Covid -19 yesterday. He was one the administrators on that site.
Some of contributors on here may go on zroadster.net aswell and may not have seen this yet .

RIP Gary

Stay safe everyone.

What terrible news .....
So sad
condolences to his family........

Thanks for posting this up, he was a thoroughly decent and supportive guy. Spent a fair bit of time picking his brains when Zorg started up about moderation and running things. A loss for the zed community, one of the original old boys!

That's very sad, it's where it all started for me.

X

Sad news indeed and that website was where it all started for me as well.
If I remember correctly Gaz started zroadster.org because .net was down and offline often back in the day ?

If I have got this wrong I am sure that @GazHyde will correct me.

Getting your Gaz's slightly mixed up Mike, although Gazza (originally went by the name Garythefish) did initially help out with some background stuff here in the very early days, Zorg was all the fault of myself and James!

Sad news, I was a regular on there for a few years before Zorg. I remember meeting Gazza at one meet.

=)) About mixing things up, I was posting about you starting Zorg not Gazza.

Very sad news to hear about Gazza. I remember him well and his BlUE M. He and his wife used to come across the Dartford Bridge from Essex to a few of my Kent cruises. Also met them both at the first Silverstone meet where l have a DVD of his BlUE M and many other Zeds on the grid after our memorable parade lap? Lovely couple my condolences to his wife and family.

Sad news, I also started on .net many years ago. RIP Gazza

Me too, first joined .net but didn’t meet Gary at all. Very sad to lose someone else to Covid. Condolences to his family and friends.

Tony.

I wasn't suggesting he had anything to do with Zorg Gaz, I met him at Gaydon with .net. He was there with his M.

Now we are getting our Mike's mixed up, that was in reply to Hard Top Mike ;)

Really sad news and condolences to his family. Met them at Silverstone for the zedfest and the parade lap around the circuit, and very welcoming when I first joined .net
