Enjoyable run out this morning with a group of Z4's. Met at Skelton Lake Services (M1J45) for a run up the old A1 (A168) to Thirsk. Across to Helmsley (via a photo opp at Sutton Bank), before on to Pickering and NY500 (first visit). NY500 very reminiscent of The Motorist - similar layout, a few interesting cars and a decent cafe. Top tip: the sausage bap is fine, don't add the egg. Don't ask . . .

Some pictures of Zeds . . .

Nice pictures Alex, thanks for sharing mate. But Rat Rods, :wtf: do nothing for me, I just can’t see the point. Each to there own I guess. And on a car which was renowned for catching fire in an accident too.

Tony.

I know what you mean. It was almost just derelict rather than a pukkah rat rod. But I know people do like them, and it was interesting . . .

I managed to get a bit sunburnt on the way back from yours yesterday - through the clouds ! Not fair . . .

Today was always going to be a top down day - had to wear a hat most of the day.

But any day out in the Zed is a cracking day . . .
(happy face)
