Just leaving home
Invited a few Car club members for breakfast
Quick run out into the North Yorkshire Dales stopping for a drink and comfort break at the Tan hill inn, highest pub in the British isles apparently. It was a bit bleak but very busy and some very friendly sheep.
Headed off in to the mist taking on the Buttertub pass, twisty roads and sheer drops what could be better on a wet dank morning, well when the clouds cleared and the rain stopped it was breath taking, definitely going back on a clearer day but don't think it will ever be warm up there. Ended up for a very nice Sunday lunch just outside Bedale. 7 am start and back at 5pm so a full day but great to be out. Did find one thing interesting on our route we spotted 13 Aston Martins and only 2 Z4's so does that make mine rare and desirable?
