Run Flats or Not

Hi all,
My wife's 116D needs new tyres and I'm wondering if I can fit standard tyres instead of the run flats. Would it affect handling or more to the point my insurance?

if your wife likes driving on rft then keep them at least you know she can get home safe, one thing to remember if you drive on a flat or low pressure rft then it is ruined the same as a standard tyre but will cost you more, i dumped my rft asap and my car is totally different, as far as ins did you buy the car new if not then the tyres you are replacing were standard you dont know any difference, i bet when you insured it they never asked if it had rft, also remember all cars fitted with rft dont have a spare or jack so you need to get some tyre weld,
