hi,

I have a Z3M S50 and there is a split in the rubber pipe that goes into the manifold from the MAF plastic pipe section.

I can’t seem to find the same rubber pipe section when I search for the part.

Does anyone know where I can get the product code or a link to buy a new pipe?

Thanks.

The car is running fairly poorly, spluttering and power is down. Likelyhood this will resolve it? The rubber is split fairly badly.

Yes, its a very common problem throughout the range

Replaced the boot pipe which has improved things a little but still running rough and sound is different to before the issue. it seems lower and more baffled. One coil pack needs replacing from my checks today which il do tomorrow. Do you think this will resolve the issue? There is a smell of fuel but that may be just because its sitting on my drive running when I was doing checks.

It's not really possible to say if any individual repair will resolve your rough running. But these appear to both be jobs that need doing regardless and will only help in the course of getting a resolution.

If you get stuck post the error numbers up.

Changed the coil pack but hasn’t resolved the issue. When I disconnect all of them individually the ‘problem coil’ still isn’t dropping the revs like the others.

What are the other potential other issues. Spark plug? Cable connector?

Can smell petrol when I pull throttle cable

Check the obvious easy things first. Spark plugs and leads, give the throttle body a good clean out with carb and injector spray and if you've found one cracked rubber it's best to double check all of them as they're all likely to be the same age. Get a code reader on it if you can
