It's pretty cool TBF, just not the best in my view. All good though.

The Lancaster is a brilliant strong image that typifies the RAF over many decades. Not just the plane but the hidden message of team work. A super combination of iconic aircraft, people and of course, sky!

The selfie is a brilliantly timed image.

“Op Ruman, first in” is my choice. Simply because it’s about the people in the RAF and the services they support. It’s not about the glamour or impact of the planes, or the grunt (no pun intended) of the job, but, about the human aspect. This is the hidden part of the job.

My old man was in the RAF but ground crew when they still had National Service, he loved it .... :)

Yep, the old boy loved it, dose not mention it any more though !
Used to tell me all about it when I was a kid back in the 70's @Andy McDonnell.

Changed a bit now though mate, for most trades other Cyprus it's RAF UK Stations only :( 92000 when I joined up in '83 and less than 40000 now :( The kit and training today has evolved nicely and is leaps and bounds above what it used to be though.:thumbsup:
