Round analogue clock wiring diagram needed

Hi All,

I (well my auto electrician) is going to wire in my analogue clock (the round type from a facelift car) but he needs to know which pin does what on the clock.
It has 3 pins so we assuming constant power, earth and illumination but we don't which is which.

Any ideas where to get a diagram?
 
Pin1 is power from fuse 31
2 is Earth
3 is power from light switch
 
The pin contacts I gave are for the facelift clock.

The pre-facelift has 4 contacts and looks like 2 plugs
The plug with the red/green wire is the supply to the clock from fuse 7
and the plug with green/red wire is the supply from light switch
brown is the earth.
 
Thanks guys, I'm wiring in a facelift clock to a prefacelift car. The difference in pins explains why its not plug and play.
