Roof motor relocation - Derby / Midlands area please

Hello,

I am new to the site and bought my z4 roadster last week.

I'm absolutely loving it so far, I really want to relocate the roof motor to the boot of the car and wondered if there's anyone in the area who would be able to do it for me (at a cost of course)

I don't mind driving to somewhere further a field but ideally if it's in this area that would be amazing.

Hi Dan, I hosted a "Roof motor Relocation Day " at my home near Lincoln just over a year ago. You're the 2nd person to show interest in the last few days so we may be able to do the same again. I will make some enquiries and get back to you.

There is a guy in Durham who did mine. I went up on the Saturday and also had plenty of time to drive around Hartside and then back home in the same day.

Welcome to the forum, there is usually a guy at ZFest that does it while you wait on the day.

What you do in your own garage is entirely up to you Tony, but he gets no trade through this forum - feel free to organise, but no posts on here about it please. I'd suggest people read his business thread on the Z4-Forum.

I'd recommend someone like @bowser134 for roof motor issues.

ive just done my roof motor relocation myself. Its a bit of a fiddly job but theres a few 'tricks' u could employ to make it an easier task. Happy to help
