Hi All,

my roof lining has come off the metal frame towards the back. Both the rail on the liner and the metal frame appear to have holes that would suggest they should be screwed together.
Is this correct? If so anyone know the type of screws I need to reinstate others I guess strong double sided tape

TIA Clive

Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they're plastic expanding rivets.

I wondered whether some small black self tapping screws might work. Possibly better than double sided tape mainly because of the shaped metal bar that runs through the back of the liner

What about using "Pop" rivets?

Tony.

Rivers worked perfectly! Just took out the small plastic insert first and it is held in place very well.

Good question! I will check tomorrow as I used the rivet set and gun at work!

3mm or 1/8” I expect. It’s the length of the rivet part (alloy) which matters most.

Tony.

So I finally got around to fixing my headlining back up. Bit of trial and error but I found 4x12mm rivets works best
