Just put the roof up when I heard a ‘ping’ and this fell down.
I can’t see where it has come from, so can someone tell me where it goes? Is this only half of it?

Hood micro switch sits on the side of the hood frame at the top, looking at the wiring it’s probably been out before and not been put back correctly looks like it’s been chaffed by the folding frame

I recently had a new roof fitted. It was probably moved then. So does it just clip back in place?

Thanks Tony. Does look like it is not complete to be honest. Time to visit the wanted section.

Looks like the casing has broken......think it is held on by 2 torx screws.........you can see if the micro switch is working by operating the roof switch as it is.........unlock roof and hold up before doing this.......micro switch is in open position........when closed it should not work

To the best of my knowledge from talking at Jack Smith's shouldn't be any need to go near things on the frame like the micro switch when a roof is fitted.

I would think more likely it pre-dates the roof fitting.
