Welcome @miller1098 in our Garden of Carpathians!:)
For off road bikers is a paradise because the access on forest roads or mountain roads is free as they didn't established (yet) any property restrictions. But also some are dangerous and few foreigners did cross the line of the risk.
In which part of the mountains are you going to ride?
You will have rented bikes or you will drive the bikes brought from home?

OK , you're on good hands! They are crazy enough to keep you alive!;)
In Sept the weather is dry and sunny, a very good time for a ride.
And it's full of sheep........:D
The wine is also very good and if you will have the bite of Dracula you will come again!:)
Let me know, on a pm, when and where exactly you will be; who knows, maybe we will drink a glass together......:beer
I'm preparing my bike but I'm afraid these guys will not let me in the competition.....I'm too dangerous........:depressed:
