Hi from NE UK. Test driving a Z4 23i E89 shortly and if it checks out to be ok then I’ll own my first Z4! I’m probably classed as a petrolhead having owned 76 cars (started driving in 1980) which includes 4 BMW’s, 17 Alfas and built a Tiger Cat, light restoration of a Porsche 968 and a full bare metal restoration of a 1975 MGB GT. I’m now getting too old to crawl around a freezing garage and time to enjoy a bit more refinement and I’ve always admired the great lines of the Z4, and I like the idea of the metal roof, which when combined with the usual BMW quality and refinement, makes owning one now a bit of a no brainer. Looking forward to picking likeminded fellows brains 😊

Not too far away but 👍 Many clubs or meets up our neck of the woods?
There are quite a few members in the north east mostly much further north than us at the top end of Yorkshire. Keep an eye on "Forthcoming Events" click on "Forums" at the top left of the page & scroll down till you find it. Check out "andyglim's" Lakes & Dales tour or if you fancy venturing into Scotland "Stevo7682" does a Scottish run.
