My 1999 2.8 came without roll hoops. Looking to buy the complete unit boxes hoops and fittings
Am I going to be able to swap this into the current car if it was supplied without hoops?
Thanks
P.S The new unit and hoops are black

From memory, you can retain the existing centre section and retain your existing lock. The outer 'turrets' can be reused once you're cut circular holes in - look on the underside and you may see the circles already scribed in. Alternatively you can paint the black stuff a similar beige - I've used Halfords rattle cans with excellent results.
Fitting the hoop kit is quite a bit of work, more long winded than actually difficult.

Pay around £250 for a complete kit. They're not as rare or sought after as they once were.

Thanks for the info. On the colour side my friend has his own business spraying cars. He matched the colour of the interior purely by eye and touched up some trim damage. He also repaired that seat wear you see on side of the drivers seat. Again thanks for the information.
