I found this very good PDF link to installing the rogue engineering top mounts. Probably the easiest one I could find especially for someone like me

In addition to point 9, I also found it easier to put a small weight on top of the upper shock mount. This way it doesn't move away from you when you offer up the shock to the two bolts protruding downwards.
I had the car on some mini ramps and it access to the two bolts on the mounts was easy using a torque wrench in the gap between the top of the wheel and the wing. (See pic)
There is still a clunk but it's different in that it seems to only happen when changing gears, and I feel it through the gears. It's also less noticeable, particularly when I dropped a gear to overtake. No slight thump in the back.
I took off the original mounts and found the rubber gasket at all but disintegrated so it was worth doing.
CA International gave me a good deal as a new customer, so if anyone's thinking of doing it, whether you go to CA or keep it stock, if I can do it, then anyone can!
