Now the weathers setting in the Ms in the garage and the winter jobs have started!
I'm taking the wheels off one by one and giving them a good clean and waxing :D

My process consists of wash, quick detail, clay bar, then two coats of 3M Marine wax finished off with Auto glym tyre dressing.. B-)

I really recommend the 3M marine wax.. Gives a deep gloss wet look and excellent water beading

Hey mate, the 3M wax is really only recommended for the wheels. 'Offyourmarks' recommended the wax and a few of us use it with good results B-)

AG HD wax if fine for your body work Daz.. I've used it on the 2.8 and the M.. It's a great wax for the price.
I'm looking at going for some swissvax wax next tho as the last owner Yan swore by it.. Badman gee uses Zymol wax also great stuff.. There's loads out there.. Key is finding a wax that you get on with for your colour/paint finish

Other jobs are just cleaning and detailing really. Not really much needs doing to her only thing I'd like to do is get some new braided brake pipes as an upgrad. She's also having an oil service next week B-)

I'd steer clear of swissvax, they do fantastic waxes but their very overpriced and BOS doesnt actually last that long. It looks great for 2 weeks then goes dull. One of the nicest looking wax's ive used is vics concourse red. Looked amazing on black and looked very deep and wet, or if your planning on driving through the winter 3 coats of zaino z5 with 2 coats of z-2 have left a shine that looks very similar to zymol vintage. Really surprised me.

I've told Liam about the Swiss vax, it's not a patch on zymol.

IMHO

zymol vintage was fantastic looking and a dream to use. Concourse + glasur look great too but was a bit fiddly to put on a black panel if the sun was on it. Worth the price though.

I don't think its a good idea to use any polish/wax when the car is parked in the sun?

Ray, the marine stuff is great,

Very durable and will make cleaning easy.

Prepare the wheels as Liam has, including the claying.

;)
