I'm considering buying one of these, it will be colour coded, however I was wondering if anyone has one and whet the quality is like. thanks

Is it likely to give you problems when driving over speed bumps or parking to close to a kerb.

It depends if it's genuine Reiger (which is ABS) or a replica which is fiberglass. For someone who runs a repair shop the occasional scuff shouldn't be an issue!
Or you can go for a flexible rubber type like I have but that can't be color coded. You should be fine for clearance as your car is not very low.
Will look nice.

That's look genuine being German and all but inportantly started ABS. Very good price as a fiberglass rep is about that in the UK. German Ebay and Amazon.de are always worth a look it seems.

That one you link to looks genuine and is around about the right price. Have one fitted to mine and the quality is great. Originally I had eibachs which lowered 30mm, but its now lower on coilovers and its pretty much fine wherever I go you just need to be careful when pulling up to kerbs and speed humps etc. It is scuffed underneath though where I have caught it several times

That's my worry, you can always reverse into a parking space, required in most par parks in Lincoln as they have those bloody stupid "diamond" shaped bits of kerb with a shrub in them. So they either claim the front right or left of your bumper. If I fit some Eibach springs on mine it will lower it another 15mm over the stock sport suspension. I often hear cars come into the yard at work and they sometimes catch the underside of the front splitter as they enter. Will need to be very observant is all.;)

Tony.

I was assuming in my initial response that you were going to be getting a genuine Reiger version. Hopefully it doesn't end up too low at the front, my Z4 front spoiler scuffs every speed bump near me. God I hate speed bumps....
