Sounds good Roy ...Has it settled much more? Any side views to see the drop ? Looks a nice piece of kit you have installed and it should become a bit more normal feeling in time..
How have you set up the damping? Is it set to hard with the asc cutting in ? I find it almost impossible to get mine to twitch at all !

The dampers are set to softest and to be honest the ASC didn't come on full blown just lit up for a split second so didn't feel any intrusive action. Probably only use ASC now in the wet. The rear is really tight and that's a lot to do with the Bertini top strut, ( this run was without the Bertini lower strong strut to be fair to the kit so when added maybe be even better) it doesn't bounce and it's hard to feel any sway in the corners. Took a couple of pics after run and think maybe has settled a bit more, when I parked up at the local shops and came back on approach it looked very differant in stance but the pics just don't show it at all.

Sorry forgot to tell you, none what so ever, just have to keep eye on wear pattern.
Really pleased with the set up Ant, had it on a Golf GTI but was part of a £3000 upgrade I got done with engine mods by a well known tuner. Great car but hankered for rear wheel drive. Can't wait to take it out again.

Yeh people out there just don't know what their missing Ant. All I have to do now is try and get it clean enough for the Sun run, it's got really grotty inside and out. Been standing on my seats inside and stretched the leather, could really kick myself. Made a couple of covers for the ends of the Bertini @Anthony Cherry rear strut where I butchered the carpet, here's a couple of pics.

Just hides the unfinished hole in the carpet plus allows for damper adjustment.

Looking great mate, look forward to seeing all your hard work. I had to pick our Abbie up from work tonight (long story - I hate f***ing cars) and I showed her how the Z4 goes and how it goes round the roundabouts too. She does like it!!:)

Tony.

See you on Sun Tony, don't look too hard cos there's still a bit of finishing to do.
Roy.
Sorry mate, you won't see me on Sunday, unless you can get a late flight to Orlando ( you'd be very welcome by the way) Hope you all have a blast, and I'll be waiting for the Event report and pictures. Please the weather is good too.

I now have a pro looking Simota cold air intake fitted albeit secondhand. The kitchen waste bin DIY shielded filter housing showed me that although there was very little increase in seat of pants power the engine most certainly liked it's nice cold air feed. The fitting was only held up by the kits short hose that adapts to the OME which when fitted couldn't bend to meet a 45beg turn to join elevating the pressure on the clamps to hold it in position on my 2.8, I had to wait over a week to obtain the silicone hose with 45deg bend to arrive then only used a couple of inches in all to make a good fit. The only differance from the DIY bin kit is that it looks more pro under the bonnet as you can see in the pics, very happy with result.

Hose needed to make good clean connection on my 2.8, lots of silicone hose waste.

Latest on this Simota kit. Had a outing to @t-tony on Sat which culminated in a round trip of 257mls and it seems the more miles I drove the more the feeling that this kit was telling the cars computer to adapt and was well pleased when following Tony's Z4, apart from the great sound (which you don't here as much as outside listeners or so Tony informed me) the way it kept up with the 4 was quite pleasing, wasn't easy but never the less it didn't loose too much ground, is this enough to convince you????? Well I thoroughly recommend it. OK I know I have a little gizmo which over fuels to some extent and two extra cold air feeds but maybe the kit and cars computer liked it better than my old setup, it was definately a noticeable improvement. MPG was roughly the same so no probs there.(19 around town,25 on a longish run) with no simpathy for the gas paddle or the wallet, a good Eco driver would no doubt get 29-30. I managed to get my used kit (from @Mnbrennan thank you Martin) but now know that if I'd bought a new one(£220ish for 2.8) I would not have been disappointed. So the old saying on here of "more miles for more smiles" has defo worked for me.:happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy::happy:.

If it reacts to yours like it did with mine Ant you'll be well pleased, couldn't believe how it improved mile after mile on the way there. Had to pinch myself after following Tony, thought I'd get left for dead. It's such a shame that you can't hear it very well in the car, Tony said it sounded great when we took off with me loosing grip with half right lock on and flooring it taking a smallish gap in the traffic, he was in front with hood up window down but all I heard was the rear loosing grip. Haven't driven it in anger with hood down yet, hope I can hear it better then.:)

Glad that's working out for you @Rha! The only better one I know of according to data presented on here by Zedonist is the PiperCross set up which was his choice after considerable research. But everyone with the Simota seems very happy with it! JIM

Can that be used to make it give more fuel on the overunn for pops and bangs ala TVR?
The balance needs to be right though I'm sure too much will cause something to literally go pop!
