Looking to fit lhd n/s light to the Z4 which would change the white reversing light to red (Balance the Z4 rear) Would this be an MOT failure?

Reversing lights are NOT a testable item. But, in my opinion they should be.

Tony.

ps. I went the opposite way and fitted the RH light unit from a LHD car.

So, speaking to the man from the RMI this morning about this subject he told me that he'd heard on the grapevine that reversing lights MAY become a testable item next year along with front fog lights and some other items. I'll keep you posted @Paul Rice .

You could always go the same route as me Paul, that way you're covered if reversing lights are introduced as a testable item. That did figure in my thinking to be honest, would've been annoying if I'd gone the "red" route only to find it was the wrong choice down the line.

It got me thinking because it was cheap i have quite a list for the Z4 and should really prioritize which order, saying that first items bought Bright grill, nothing wrong with the original just black, then the new front badge to replace the water marked one and of course some new number plates all essential, "not".

I looked for a reasonable priced one for quite a while mate. I'll see if I can find the seller for you.
