Rev fluctuations

I have started my Z3 for the first time since October. Fired up first time!

However it reminded me of an issue the vehicle has when cold. On this first start it was quite noticeable.

The engine is dropping about 150 rpm for a few seconds about 2-3 times a minute.

Any thoughts? The Vehicle is a 2.8

Is it an m52tu? I had this before vanos rebuild.
