Retro fit obc

Hi all ive been researching the retro fit of a obc for a post facelift zed could someone confirm the parts id need i think its
Obc itself
Obc stalk
Temp sensor
Ive read all the wiring is in place already
Its 2.0 straight 6 if that makes any difference

@Davyhoogy has a pre-facelift obc unit for sale. If you need one try contacting him he may have the stalk also, I am not sure.
There was a recent thread on doing this retrofit. The obc needs to be coded within a short period of fitting it, but it seemed pretty straight forward.

Hi, the prefacelift obc is a rectangular unit which means it won't fit behind the console on a facelift car. The facelift cars require a round OBC so that it fits correctly behind the console.

The OBC does not require coding unless you've bought it brand new from the dealer.

It will require installation of a BC stalk to replace the existing indicator stalk so that you can scroll through the functions on the OBC.

You'll also need to source a temp probe.

Other than that installation is fairly straight forward as it is just plug and play. All the wires already exist in the factory loom so there should be little or no splicing involved.

Having just done this my to my facelift zed i can confirm that if you acquire the round obc unit the stalk and temp probe all just plug and play .

HELP!!! I have fitted a replacement obc this morning and it is showing a row of 3 "P's" which I guess means it needs coding. How long have I got to get it coded and who can do it for me within that timescale assuming I drive over asap from Market Drayton?

Is there a fuse for this in the fuse box. I remember reading that the Ps could be a sign that the OBC is unable to communicate with the instrument cluster. Still not sure why that wouldn't display the time though. Just a thought... Did the old unit work correctly?

This is in the car I just bought, the old obc was dead with nothing in the display but the seller included a replacement which I fitted this morning and straight away the 3 Ps lit up but I cannot get anything else on it.

Try this just a look at a thread on net ppp display can be caused by a power surge/ failure the fix was disconnect battery 10 mins reconnect resets everything.

Cheers Steve, battery disconnected 5 minutes ago, fingers crossed.

When I reconnected the battery the display was blank but as soon as I switched the key on the 3Ps came back. I will try again tomorrow after the retest.

im afriad the three P's is unfixable had this on mine when i brought it and could not resolve it . Tried alsorts, a flat battery / disconnected battery seemed to cause it the previous owner advised google gives very little help on the issue i replaced the obc in the end and its been fine.

Tried again today and also tried various combinations of button pressing but it looks like you are right Antm72 my obc is dead. There must be a permanent live to it as the 3Ps are there even when the ignition is off.

The previous owner advised it worked fine when the car was garaged the battery went flat and it never worked again.
I tried everything but to no avial got a replacement and its been fine since
