Hi, I have decided to delete the resonator on my 86M. Now im a bit unsure of the route to go down regarding the X pipe, it will be a custom build...but do i ask the fabricator to join the pipes with a connecting hole so the gasses can still mix (due to pulses) or do i just get him to fabricate two distinct unconnected lines?

keep an x-pipe setup or the exhaust system will pop and bang like some 18yr old in a corsa!
X-pipes improve top end performance, you could also consider an H-pipe which will improve bottom end torque
