I have a guy that is in the fibre glass business, he designs and makes kits for a number of touring cars, he took a look at the ACS splitters today and said he could do them but would require 10 sets to make it worth while.
Front splitters would be £250 and rear would be £200, my concern is that the splitters I have are for the 1.9, I am going to fit them to my 2.8 and see what they are like, he said he couldnt look at them for at least 2 months anyway

I would consider it, do you have any sketch’s or pictures of what the final product might look like ?

Isn't the bumper one on yours @Sean d the bigger air intake as fitted to the 2.8?

It's the width that's an issue pal, the front is easy as the splitters can be moved out to fit but the rear is defined by the exhaust gap so to get the fit I want I may have to extend both parts where they meet the exhaust gap

With they work ok on the sports bumpers. They look radically different from the standard bumper pictures and it might not fit all bumpers.

So the replicas that your friend is making will include the modifications you made for a straight fit I am assuming then

Sean,
Does your mate still have the mould for the 2.8 splitters or any left over? Thought about doing another run even? I do have originals on my 1.9 which I'm considering swapping over to the 2.8 but wary of the cost/benefit of doing this. Thx
