Hello, my name is Gerardo, I'm in Monterrey, Mexico and I'm new to the Forum.
I have a 2001 Z3 annd it has been a very good experience driving it.
My concern now is that the emblems have de-faced, lost the logo image. I already bought the replacements but I have not been able to figure out how to replace them. It seems the emblems are glued or tightly fixed.
I don't want to do any harm to the paint.
I will appreciate any reccomendations.
Regards
Gerardo

Welcome Gerardo!

Are you talking about the Z3 logo and engine size badges which are stuck on the boot lid? If so they are fixed on with a double sided foam tape.

I'm not sure what you would have available in Mexico, but here is a link to something similar from UK eBay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-3...d-Attachment-Adhesive-Tape-CR20-/261607048604

You can apply it to the back of the badges and then trim off the overlapping areas with a craft knife or scalpel. Hope that helps.

Hi Gerardo from Canada! If you are having trouble removing the emblems a hair dryer applied for a few minutes will help. Just use a plastic tool which shouldn't cause any damage to your paint and then be sure to remove all old adhesive. HTH JIM
