My Z3 had a rusty patch directly below the fuel filler cap, where they all tend to go. I managed to by a pair in in the same colour for £20 each from a car breaker so I have added some photos below of the job.
Some words of wisdom;
Remove wheel arch liners first, as you want to undo the rusty bolts first, the rest are easy!
Unbolt ALL the bolts up the leading edge of the rear wing to get sufficient flex.
Buy replacement plastic push fits for the sill and trim line mouldings as old will break. (<£3 on ebay for 10)
To take off, tackle any rust on the inner sill and put back new, allow 6hrs
Use axle stands as the car jack gets in the way!
