Replacement Z3 Badge

I decided to debadge my pre facelift Z3 as in my mind it was going to look good. A few days have gone by and I'm starting to feel a sense of dread every time i look at the rear of it.

So... I decide to go on ebay to see if I can buy a fresh z3 badge, only to find out that they are a) like rocking horse sh*t. b) £50+ for the z and 3 together.

Does anyone know where to find them cheaper / buy replicas? I can't justify spending £50 for a badge at this moment in time.

PS. I already know I'm stupid for debadgeing it so please be kind :)

Thanks

Toby

Do you mean the Z 3 from the boot lid, as stuck on the red box in the photo below?

You are welcome to the ones I have, but you will need to find some double sided foam tape to refit them on your car.

Why did you not keep the ones you took off. The Z came off my 3 and I restock it with some 3M double sided tape.

Tony.

My badges all came off and went into a box in case I want them later. When I got my car the previous owner had tried to replicate an M with all the badges and German flags. Its not so I took all of them off except the round BMW ones.

I wasn't really thinking when I took them off. They were not in good condition so I threw them in the bin. It's only later I realised they were hard to come by

I took mine off a few years ago now; think it looks much better without.:)

You’ll get used to it. It’s much cleaner without the badge- when I ‘lost’ mine I was somewhat torn but given a bit of time much prefer it - which I could have lost the boot latch thing as well..

People also ask ‘what is it?’ sometimes as it doesn’t have any BMW badges anymore either. I like that!

I must admit from the examples shown it can look very smart. I'll take your advice and give it some time :)
