Drawing up my winter list, thinking about replacing brake lines for braided. Looking at M-Tec (same as discs) or coloured HEL.
Any recommendations please?

I bought these as recommended by a few members on here. I have not go round to fitting them yet and they have gone up by a few quid since I bought them but they do look well made.

Wezmoto. I used blue but it really doesn't matter cos you can't see them when the wheels are on.

Tony.

Yes there are 4 on the rear Paul. Original fitment is 2 short hoses with a steel pipe between them. The stainless hoses feature 1 longer and 1 shorter hoses which eliminates the steel pipe.

Only issue I had was that the hoses needed a large washer to stop the hose going through the brackets on the car. I contact the seller and they sell they would get this sorted so you may not have this problem anyway. But, if you do it just needs some flat washers drilling out. If you find you do I can post you 6.

Thanks Tony, top man.
The ones shown on their add shows 2 grommets on each pipe could these be for the brackets ILO washers?

Could be they push into the brackets and the hoses push into them? Wouldn’t be secure enough I don’t think though for MOT.

Tony.

Fitted the fronts today without a hitch, rears another story gave up after a while trying to get the old ones off, 17 years of rust etc. Will have another look at the weekend, no rush not going anywhere for the near future.

Be good to see some pictures of the rears. I have to do mine sooner or later, be interested in your before and after pictures.
Sounds like you might have to cut the pipe and graft a new length in with new fittings for the new hose connection.

The ones I fitted on the rear were a pair, one longer than the other which did away with the short metal pipe between the rubber hoses @colb

Have a look on my progress thread.
