Hi All - does anyone know if there is a workshop manual for the Z3 1.9 2002? I have looked but can't seem to find one. Many thanks John

There is an online site for BMW TIS (Technical Information System) that covers all models, it used to be free access but BMW now make an extorniate charge to access it. There used to be some free sites that accessed it but BMW have forcede them to close over copyright laws, there was one Russian site still accessible but that has also been forced closed by BMW. One free link to something similar is here
Its a Dutch site so you will have to invoke Google Translate on the site which changes it to English.

BMW- The gift that keeps on giving! Nice cars but way too expensive for the average man I think! I will be selling mine soon while its still worth something, it's getting to the point where the hidden costs are just overcoming the joy of ownership!

I wonder if BMW will fall foul of the recent legislation in the UK about the consumer right to repair, I do hope so it was a good technical info site for those of us who do our own repairs and servicing.

You have the right - if you can afford it.

It passes the "reasonable test" as $30 to find the answer to a problem is cheaper than one hour's labour.

I may go back to selling DVDs ;) .
