Now for the bodywork weather permitting i.e. snow, rinse, wash, clay, polish, and wax, and wife says I spend more time with the car than her ?

I used Renovo 3 stage on my last Z, I was initially pleased with the water beading but it didn't last long, great job by the way

I've always used this for waterproofing the soft tops, its a waterproofer and UV protector, does a great job and its around £15 on ebay or your local camping outlet for 2.5ltrs so last for years..

Quite like the renovo stuff for dying. Z looks very crisp with a hood refresh. Would like to ask you about the wheels you are running too. Are those Cades tyrus? Look similar to some wheels im thinking of getting. Would like to know setups. Im down the offset rabbit hole and some visual reference points with the proper measurement it's always good to get.

Also recently used the fabsil product to the waterproofing and really does propose better value than the renovo stuff. I recently used the spray to do the hood instead of a liquid based brush on.

As mentioned above, if i had one criticism of the renovo stuff, it would the process of using liquids. Liquid cleaner makes sense but for any future dye and waterproof i think i'm going to look for a spray on dye and waterproofer. I think application to the hood will be a lot easier to handle and also achieve better results in the shorter time. Despite prepping and taping pretty much my whole car including the rubber gutterings, i think run off from liquid is almost inevitable.

Bit of research into products needed but im off for a week so plan to get some Z3 work done.

I've used spay roofers too, they cause just as much mess and you will still need to mask and protect the car.

they are not the Cades Tyrus.
I had CadesTyrus on my Z3 as summer wheels, but now the mrs has nicked them for her Z4
