Remote locking

Might be a daft question to some but do all z3 roadsters have remote locking?

Mine is a 97 pre facelift widebody 2.8 and I certainly don't have any button or the like on the keys

If you have a BMW alarm system you would have a fob like this which will remote lock and unlock .
My other zed doesn't have this so need to use key but it still has the transponder chip in the key for factory immobiliser and previous owner has fitted an aftermarket Thatcham approved immobiliser.

I don't have an alarm any more, pretty sure it was after market and started causing issues so just had it removed
