Got some wheels off ebay before Xmas and finally got them sorted out. Pleased with the result. Painted and lacquered.

Nice wheels Brian. Did you get them refurbed locally or do them yourself?
They were done in Coventry 10 miles away. Full strip back to bare metal as the previous owner had sprayed a few times with rattle cans but very poorly. Just sorting out the centre caps as they are not standard BMW but 75mm diam

I'd be interested to know how you get on with your search, because I need some that size for my 18" Breytons. Looked before but couldn't find any suitable, unless I wanted Mercedes logo on them

Fitted the wheels today and pleased with them. The proper centre caps haven't arrived yet but had made some at home and bought some stickers from a guy in Ukraine which look pretty good as well I think.
Lovely day here today so went to Mallory Park with Micklaw this morning, hence the wheels are grubby, and then Shopping in the afternoon.

I love the uncomplicated straightforward design of them. They lend such a strong sturdy appearance to the entire car. Also, so surprised to see flowers in the garden. Still got some snow on the ground here. It must give you the nice feeling of spring in the air. Frankie
