Refurb my projector, and get new 'angel eyes' ones

What's the trend these days? My projectors need cleaning and repolishing -- on the other hand for ~£250 you can get a new pair with LED/Halogen (??) angel eyes...

So do they look tacky? Do they look Jacky? What's the opinion of the members? Pics (most!) welcome!

These are what I fitted on my Z3, only complaint would be the Halo's were not too great in bright sunlight.

Got them too, but for the life of me can't get the buggers to align right
