Does anyone have a red leather door card or chair that is beyond repair?

As I am wanting to reuse the leather to make a custom gear knob and tabs for my steering wheel.

I think I have a door card with red leather inserts, if you were able to do the steering wheel tabs I'd be very interested in a swapsie!

Do you have any spare tabs, as I only have the ones I would be keeping.

@Jjim I have been looking for some Tannirot red leather too for exactly the same thing as Royal Steering wheels don't have the red in for the bottom piece. BMW will only sell it in a sq meter which is a bit too much. The hunt continues.

Probably cheaper to buy an Alpine cow, slaughter and skin it and dye it using colour matched dye from Gliptone (who make dye to match your sample)?
Then invite us all around for Z steak fest??

Bit more than I wanted to spend on a project that might not work in the end.
