jack smith swansea gets a lot of z3's, theres quite a few on here can vouch for his work.. mine was done about 4 years ago at the miserly price of £280 i think he has gone up now to £320... mine still looks good although it has faded slightly being blue i suppose it would but once i have treated it to fabsil it gets its nice blue colour again, I think he will do pocketted or non pocketted roofs, and the rear window is double stitched and non replaceable.. but for that cost you could replace the roof every few years...

theres a lady living not far from me had her roof done in red a few months ago, and she had the roof slashed by some jealous person and Jack even offered to repair it at a discounted price so you can,t get much better service than that.

heres mine

I think you will find quite a lot of pictures already posted of Jack Smith and other roofs if you use the forum search tool. As well as useful information and validations on the quality of the job. The current price is £330. At this time of year there may be a waiting time of 2-3 months for his services though.

This thread is currently live from the last couple of weeks.

Slightly off thread, but has anyone had a full tonneau done and if so, by whom - I have an aversion to putting the hood up - ever !

Only the small one to cover top when dowm
Geoff what we call the tonneau isnt really a tonneau, its just a cover for the softop, a tonneau covers the whole interior of the car

Yes, a full tonneau is what I'm planning - custom made and with discreet attachments - it ought to be possible so someone out there may already have done it ? Am seeing a tonneau maker in a week or so and I'll pass any wisdom on - I know my Z3 is a summer car only but as such I've no use for a hood at all ! Fresh air and with sparks coming from me baccy pipe !

Not sure how you will do that
What will you do when it rains as we are In the UL
=)) that's the point of a tonneau, to waterproof the car when it rains if you dont have a top or choose to keep it down =))
