Joined up with a few Zorg mates with the BMWCC at the New Oil can restaurant / Carding shed at Holmefirth today.
Met up first thing with Rob & Janette (Rob T) followed by Tony & Jane (Yocky) for a run from Barnsley to Holmefirth the Zeds being led by a very nice 5 series (David Moore), Thanks Dave for getting us to the new location without fuss.
Arrived for Breakfast to be joined by Dom and his brother for the obligatory bacon and egg (it really has a very extensive breakfast menu) no really it does.
As the Car club guys were working to a different schedule we decided to go our own way. So off into the Peaks, taking in some fantastic roads and views even on the misty heights making our way through Glossop, Castleton with the obligatory run through the Winnatts pass. After drinks at the Hope valley garden centre completed our run home through some more stunning Derbyshire lanes. Big thank you to Dom for taking the lead on both legs of our Sunday in the Peaks.
Did discuss for this year but a definite for 2019 for a Zed cruise around the Peaks to include a visit to the new Oil Can restaurant.
