Rear view mirror

Not Z3 related, but my daughter has a Skoda Citigo, her rear view mirror has fallen off
We have tried double sided sticky tape. We have contacted Skoda and Auto Windscreens, but not getting anywhere with regards to what is the best thing to use to restick the rear view back on.
We have used normal double sided sticky tape and we have used a product from Halfords , but it keeps falling off.
Has anybody got any advice as the best thing to use to stick a rear view mirror back on?

Loctite do an adhesive to bond metal to glass. Remove the metal pad the mirror fit onto and glue it to the screen. Leave for 1 day and affix the mirror to the pad.

What Tony says. Bear in mind that this time of year you need to make sure there’s absolutely no condensation on the glass before you apply the glue. Even from your breath. Gently heat with a hot air gun, or even, dare I say it, a hair drier….

……possibly the only time a hairdressing product should be allowed anywhere near a Z3. We know how rumours start…
