Need both right and left rear trailing arms for rusty. Passed the welding inspection of chassis and inner seals but trailing arms are knackered. HelpšŸ˜¢

I have found some arms but have a problem. They have come attached with the drive shafts. Any clues how I can undo the 30mm nut to take the shaft off once they are off the car!!???. Or am I off to a local garage to see if they can remove them?

I also have the opportunity to get a newish manual hood with a good window attached, from a donor car but, have no idea how to take the whole lot off frame and all. Any videos , advice would be appreciated . Going to see the guy about hood on Friday.

You will get the nuts undone using an impact wrench Martin, but, the hard part can often be getting the driveshaft out of the hub as the splines come coated in a ā€œthread lockā€ type of product.

Thanks Tony. Will revisit them again this weekend. Everydays a learning opportunity. Thanks again.
