Done job, put new footwell speakers in, cut as per the pic in rear with a dremel, fitted speakers and wired an amp in the boot, very loud now, does need a sub though (wife doesnt agree) but i think if i put one in the boot its not going to sound that good

I am still thinking about doing a sub in the trunk, but it would be reduced with the top down. Also, it should be a free air type sub not a sealed enclosure type unless you want to give up your trunk. Talk to an experienced installer just to get their thoughts.

I see the boot as the same as a mini, and when i put one in there, i couldnt hear it tidy, i have seen that they do one in the centre of the car, and i might buy the bit to make it fit in there or one of those slim line ones that would fit behind the seat

A small underset sub will fit nicely behind the passenger seat. I have a Kenwood and it really adds some depth.
