I suspect not many folks will be in the market for BBK on E89s but thought I'd post this anyway..
So the show stopper issue is E89s have an integrated electronic parking brake embedded into a relatively normal single piston sliding caliper.
This means that the normal route of potentially many DIY and specific BBKs for the rear of E89s don't exist.
There are two custom designs from a HK and Taiwanese companies but they are abouy £2,500 landed in UK and to my eyes have a slighly gauche style.
One US guy had a crack at it but it turned into a Vietnam with multiple issues only overcome with lots of unique hand crafting and machining..even filing down pads.
I've been working on the same logic but starting from different points.

Anyway now on the way on this..with my 550BHP E89 felt a better solution was required rather than the stock rear brake..
