Hi all.
Some of you might remember I have had either no radio reception or very very poor unlistenable.
Anyway finally got to the root of the issue. It's an aftermarket Alpine cd radio.
The aerial connector on the car is round and was connected to the back but obviously not making proper connection.
The answer is use a male iso din adapter into the radio and plug the round aerial connector onto the din adaptor. Hey Presto reception.:)
Obviously the previous owner fitted the radio with the wrong connector.
Might be of use if anyone else is suffering with no reception from aftermarket units.

Please you've got that fixed - I couldn't survive for long without some music. No reason for poor radio reception around there - plenty of transmitters in that area.

Thank you.
Every man to his or hers job why such things should be left to Specialists in there field.
Agree about radio only taken 18 months to work out the problem, nearly bought a new unit.
Now have a choice of CD or radio.
