Good old Marlin everything the zed isn't.
Noisy, uncomfortable,could be poor build quality , depends who built it,

thinking I could do a donor swap- use a BMW drive line instead of the usual pinto, unless its real old and is using the marina parts:eek: quite a few of them were based on Triumphs or sieras.
don't mind the lack of creature comforts I think just driving it would more than make up for that, and you could always upgrade the interior to suit. now what colour? I quite like this white one, though I would have to change the wheels for spoked wire wheels or go the other way and get some uber modern wheels.

here is the current Marlin and uses BMW's as a donor. Worth a trip to the kit car show at Stoneleigh usually 1st bank holiday in May

That looks much nicer Brian (didn't have time to read the pages) but I bet the roof, if it has one will look a pigs ear, they usually do. But at least it has a good foundation.

yes it looks good, but not in keeping with the 20s-30s alfa romeo that marlin were copying. suppose they are just moving with the times.
even as a kid i always liked Cruella de Vils car, yeh
