Well as this lock down looks like it going to be going for a while the Z is not going to be used so looking to do a few jobs...
so the roof is leaking from above both windows right in the centre ... now the water looks like it’s running over the roof then getting under the roof and in between the rubber section and dripping in the inside part , so on the inside of the rubber hope this makes sense

many one know if it’s an easy fix or is it needing a new roof
Thanks

Looks like the roof material has shrunk over time and will probably need replaced , you may be able to adjust the windows to press more securely against the rubbers , adjustment is through two holes in the bottom of the doors

Thanks I have adjusted the doors as far as the can go , but the water is not coming in between the rubber and glass it’s on the inside of the rubber in the car not on the outside where the glass touches

Check the bungs in the top of the A frame rubber. If they have become unsealed water can run along the top window rubber to the mid split and then drip into the car. Easy job to reseal, some how to guides on here. I just removed them, cleaned and re-sealed with bicycle puncture glue.

Only other option I can think of is to cut 2 pads from a tyre patch the same shape as the ends of the top window rubber ends and glue to each end of the rubbers at the split, this will close the gap when the roof goes gown and hopefully seal the joint, and shouldn't look out of place if you do a tidy job, again I would use a simple bike puncture repair kit. Of course you just replace the rubbers, its not too tricky but I have no idea what the costs are.

Thanks yes I just found 2x puncture repair kits so I think I will remove the rubbers and stick a couple of patches on the ends give it time to dry then trim with a craft knife .. the roof is covered any way in case it rains
