Read a recent article that the USA sit at No.1 as the World's only Superpower and the UK sit at No.2 as the World's leading Global Power. Interesting article and these two Carriers can only add weight to that .

Saw it on the news today just about to start 2 years of sea trials before going into service
Let's just hope the Argentinians don't eye up the Falklands again, for a least 2 years anyway.
Especially now the V bombers are long gone.

All that foreign aid we send to India, and they have an Aircraft Carrier.....and a Space Programme....
Unfortunately we don't have any aircraft to go on it.
As soon as sea trials are successfully completed she's heading down to Pompey which will become her home port. Her berth has recently been completed and the whole dockyard are getting excited that she's on her way.
I've just completed my induction training to go to her berth, but I wont be allowed on board ship.
