As the list for Lee's work is growing I think I've found a solution

Purchase 1 salvage subframe and 3 sets of swing arms one for the narrow body, one for widebody and one for facelift and can get everything ready before the arrival.

3 hours to strip similar to rebuild job is all done in a day and still time for T

We have discussed a similar idea Brian and I think it's a good way forward. I'm sure Lee will respond when he gets out from under his dads Z3 with the gearbox!

Hey, sorry i missed this post. Yeah i totally agree but my only concern is space. I run my little workshop from my garage under my house. I have used what space I have for benchs, pillar drills,Grinders etc but I've nearly reached my limit. Any thoughts on storage? @Brian4

It does get particularly cozy in there some evenings, particularly when the wheels are off. I still think you should turn your bedroom in to a mezzanine store room. If you took the ceiling down we could get a two post lift in :D

Lee only meant as a tongue in cheek banter. You do an amazing job for fellow forum mambers and only wish I had a garage to put/keep ours in so I am limited to daylight hours and dry days.
Keep up the good work.

PS Gary's idea sounds the way forward!!!:):D
