hello ( @Lee ),
I am currently refurbishing a pair of trailing arms and have fitted new FAG bearings,
I was moving the arms to a different part of the garage and noticed for the first time today, that when I picked them up, there seemed to be play in the bearings
The bearings are FAG F-805791 and appear genuine,
The sizes are 75mm outer diameter, 42mm inner and 37mm wide,.
They are an interference fit in the trailing arm, and had to be pulled in using my bearing puller set,
The hub is also a very tight fit and had to be pulled in as well.
The circlip is fully in place and seated
Nothing felt wrong with the assembly, no hammers were used, and all went swimmingly,
The outer race is solid and the hub to inner face is also solid, there seems to be excessive play in the internal balls and race
Surely this is not normal, are my bearings the correct ones?
