Pricing advice

I have a few things I need to advertise that I'm struggling to price so would welcome some advice from the more experienced members before I list them here or anywhere else. I'm not a greedy seller - I just want fair prices - and like some other sellers, I'd rather offer them to enthusiasts here before ebay or similar.. Apologies if this should be in the FS sub-forum but since the items aren't listed yet, I thought I'd get more opinions here.

The first is a Z3 hardtop in Hellrot red. I'd say the condition is very good with only the most minor marks and it certainly doesn't need repainting. Inside looks close to perfect as well. The paint looks original. I'm happy to sell with or without the fitting bits which are on the car. It has the heated rear window and internal switch which seems to have a mad price when I look online. What do we think - sell the top with the fitting bits or separately? It's a fairly rare colour - good or bad?

Second is a boot luggage rack. It's aluminium with varnished wood slats. It has suction feet under which the ally bars are threaded, I presume to allow bolting through the boot. It has a label that says Cosmic, which again through Google I can only find the limited information that they were an old manufacturer of these things.

Lastly a pair of chrome roll bars which look identical to these on ebay.

They don't look as if they have ever been fitted and if there are any marks on them they will be tiny. I don't even know how they fit or who makes them.

The car will probably go soon as well but I want to make sure all is tip top before I advertise it and with the hardtop on I've not had a chance to check the roof.

The money will go on my 2.8 cars, all of which need varying degrees of tlc, e.g. rear window inserts, tyres, etc.

TIA

Not the best time of year to be trying to sell a hard top, but if it’s as good a condition as you describe, with the fitting kit you want to be asking at least £1,500. You could offer to fit the fitting kit for the buyer into the deal?
Which type of chrome roll hoops are they, could you upload some pictures?, also of the boot rack too.

Thanks Tony.

Yes I'm sure you're right about timing but I can store it if necessary. I do wonder if some people are fitting the hard tops as semi permanent fixtures now. They do change the look of the car quite considerably. Here are pics of the car with hardtop, a closer shot and some of the rack. The hoops look identical to those in the ebay link.

I couldn't offer to fit the fitting kit but I'd certainly help anyone to do the swap with them. That's only because I'm unfamiliar with how it goes. I'm quite comfortable with a spanner and working on cars generally.

You could be right about people leaving the hard tops on more these days and it certainly looks very nice. I just meant that if you had removed the fitting kit from your car it would be fresh in your mind to fit it on another car. I just found two "New" identical boot racks on eBay ranging from £140 - £110 so try it at £100, you can always come down ? As for the hoops maybe around the same? Good luck with them.

Thanks Tony.

If anyone has those hoops please let me know. I'd quite like to know that they do fit a Z correctly. I don't know because they just came in the boot of the car when I bought it, same as the rack.
