Powered subwoofer options?

After repairing a blown subwoofer in the standard location between the seats, I'd still like to get some lower bass into the system. I'm considering a flat, powered subwoofer that will (possibly) fit under the seat. Does anyone have experience installing a powered subwoofer, such as the MTX TN8MS or the JBL Bass Pro SL2, under the driver's seat? Will there be enough space?

As far as I'm aware there isn't enough space under the seats. I fitted a Kenwood enclosed sub on the bulkhead behind the back of the passenger seat, just means the seat can't go all the way back.

I agree with Eddie, I don’t think you can fit the Holy Ghost under the seat... you might be able to fit an enclosed sub in between the seats along the grill thing.

I have a Blaupunkt one behind the drivers seat and there is just enough room for me but I'm short. If your any taller than probably 5'8 it would need to go behind the passenger seat unless you like sitting close to the wheel. There is no way you will get any sort of slim sub under the seats. I've had mine a while and it's brilliant, plenty of bass for the small cabin of the Z3. I have upgraded the headunit and speakers also.
